Continue readingATLANTA -- Channel 2 has learned that another Georgia Tech professor is under criminal investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Roozbeh Kangari works as a professor in the College of Architecture, and headed up the school's building construction program before stepping down last year. Channel 2 investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer obtained a letter from the attorney general's office requesting the GBI do a criminal investigation into allegations of theft from the college. Continue readingATLANTA -- Grady Memorial Hospital says it will close two neighborhood clinics and increase prescription drug co-payments as the hospital deals with a decline in funding. Grady spokesman Matt Gove said South DeKalb Health Center in Decatur and Otis W. Smith Health Center in southwest Atlanta will close within three months and patients will be sent to nearby clinics. Gove said the base co-payment for prescription drugs will rise from $2 to $3 for uninsured patients. The hospital is also cutting 100 jobs.
